Sitting on school grounds, this impressive building boasted a great many rooms. Initially built for agricultural accommodation, with a neat watchtower area for surveying the surrounding land.

Tell-tale signs of schooling were everywhere, with Catholic doctrine, rugby boots, and teaching paraphernalia littered around the site. It seems that most of the rooms had been used as offices or storage in recent years.

Initially a very ornate and stately building, with fine plaster reliefs, stained glass windows and skylights. There must have been at least 30 rooms in the one building, and we got lost a few times with the various staircases leading into different areas.

We got there just in time for this explore. A few wings had already been demolished, and the place was falling into disrepair. My ankles got covered in fleabites, and you could hear rats and cats crawling around the site. Such a waste of a very impressive building.
